CCP/SAFE Email Notification Lists

About This Service

Part of the Minneapolis Police Department's Community Crime Prevention/Safety For Everyone (CCP/SAFE) program is an email notification service. Each city precinct is divided into two or more SAFE districts. The officers and staff assigned to those districts use these lists to send email notifications pertaining to public safety and crime prevention.

Anyone may join the SAFE notification program. Once you join you will receive SAFE notifications whenever your neighborhood SAFE team believes they have important information to convey. If you reply to a SAFE message your reply is sent to the administrator who posted the message.

Subscribing

You can subscribe to any SAFE list by sending an email message to the list's subscription address. The subject and content of the message aren't important: the email address used to send the message is subscribed to the list. About five minutes after you subscribe you will receive a confirmation message at that address.

If you're unsure of your precinct, check the SAFE district map, then choose the appropriate list.

Business Notices

Businesses often have special safety and crime prevention concerns. To serve our local businesses we've created one "Biznet" list for each city precinct. You can sign up for business-oriented notices here:

Un-Subscribing

You can un-subscribe from a SAFE list at any time. Instructions for removing your address from our service can be found at the bottom of any email notification we send.
